How do people deal with adversity or suffering? One response is to blame God and get angry at Him. When someone loses a spouse or child or learns they have cancer it’s not unusual for a person to get so mad they turn their back on God. Some even walk away from their faith. Job after he lost all his property and family didn’t curse God but did curse the day he was born.
But maybe you can’t relate to that kind of suffering. There is also less extreme suffering like when someone takes your parking spot, or the Internet goes out, or you pull up to a Chick-fill-A on a Sunday and they're closed. How do you deal with it? That’s what this passage in Ecclesiastes 6:10-7:14 is about. It’s about dealing with adversity.
