When tragedy strikes close to home, as it did when Mark Finn died a few weeks ago and also when deputy officer Zackari Parrish was shot and killed, it's difficult to know how to respond. We know we should trust God but that doesn't make it easy, especially for those very close to those no longer with us. Daniel Henderson, of Strategic Renewal Ministries, was a good friend of Deputy Parrish and had the privilege of praying with his family within just a few minutes of hearing the news. On his site he has some excellent words of encouragement for how we can trust God in the midst of tragedy. We hope you find them encouraging, too.
