At Kittedge Community Bible Church we seek to know Christ and to make Him known locally and abroad. Preaching and teaching is done from the Word of God. In it we find the truths and comfort needed for everyday living, including the message of salvation...
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. --John 3:16
The people of KCBC are amazing. They're amazing because of what God is doing in their lives. There's Jim who can barely hear and struggles with balance issues yet is faithful in serving others. There's Shane who has debilitating MS yet worships with genuine joy each week and is such an encouragement to many. And there are many others who struggle yet do so with joy in their Savior.
Each person at KCBC has a story. And although our stories are all different, they all share a common theme of how God has saved us and how we now live our lives for the Lord. We're not perfect by any means, but we know we're not and this gives us an uncommon unity. KCBC has a rich history of God's faithfulness and to learn more you definitely need to check out Our History.
Pastor Tim grew up in Southern California. He graduated from Bible College in 1990, where he met his beautiful wife Aletha. After graduating, Tim pursued teaching. He taught Special Ed students in California and 1st—8th grades at a Christian School in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was the school Principal for six of those years.
While serving as Principal, Tim strongly felt God’s call to become a Pastor so he moved his family from Nebraska to Westcliffe, Colorado and attended Seminary. In 2014 he graduated in with a Master’s of Divinity from Sangre de Cristo Seminary then heard God's call to serve with Village Missions.
VM sent Tim to pastor KCBC in December, 2014.
Each week we have coffee and doughnuts before and after Worship. We're a friendly bunch and you won't be ignored. We'll treat you like family because you are!
Sunday School for Adults and Children begins at 9am and Worship starts at 10am.
Dress is casual. Wear what you feel comfortable in. The music we like to sing is a blend of Traditional Hymns and Contemporary Christian. Our goal is to choose songs that are vertically focused towards God rather than horizontally towards man.
The preaching is expository with the emphasis upon what God has to say in each verse of the passage. Want to know more? Why don't you listen to some of Pastor Tim's weekly sermons?
Sunday Morning Worship begins at 10 am.
If you are planning a visit to Kittredge Community Bible Church you can find us next to the Post Office in Kittredge about 2 miles south of downtown Evergreen on Hwy 74.
At KCBC our aim is to teach "the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27). For us, this means our preaching is primarily expository.
In expository preaching, the preaching aims to start with the Bible and make it the main focus. Other resources are used to support that focus but they take a subordinate role. Expository preaching has the goal of exposing the text, verse by verse, thought by thought, in the context it was originally given. The main point of the passage is the main point of the sermon. No more, no less.
After hearing one of our expository sermons we pray you will be able to say "now I know what that passage means" and be convicted by the Holy Spirit to apply its meaning to your life.

Come Fellowship with Us!
The supernatural and plenary (complete in every respect) inspiration of the Scriptures—that they are inerrant and their teaching and authority are absolute, supreme, and final.
The Trinity of the Godhead—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
The personality of all three persons of the Trinity.
The virgin birth of Jesus Christ who exists as the God-man.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ— that He bodily rose from the dead according to the Scriptures, and that He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God as the believer’s Advocate.
The sinfulness of man—that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, are totally depraved and need a Savior from sin.
The atonement—that Jesus Christ became the sinner’s substitutionary sacrifice before God and died as the propitiation (a sacrifice of atonement) for the sins of the whole world.
The necessity of the new birth—salvation is by grace through faith and not of works; saving faith will maintain good works in the life of the believer.
The literal resurrection of all people, both of the just and unjust.
The everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
The evangelization of the world— the supreme mission of the church in this age is to preach the gospel to every person.
The second coming of Jesus Christ according to Scriptures.
